Dear Students,
The dissertation proposal presentations for postgraduate students of Taxation (direction 1), Assets Valuation, and Taxation (direction 2) will be held on 13th October (Tuesday). Details needing attention are as follow (please pay attention to updated arrangement details on the School’s home page):
Important matters:
1. Hand in the electronic version of your dissertation proposal.
Please make sure you have discussed your dissertation topic and get the approval from your supervisor on handing-in the dissertation proposal. You should log into the EMS (education management system) to fill in the “Dissertation Proposal” part of the graduation and degree column. Students who didn’t fill in the form by due time in the system will not be able to take part in the dissertation proposal presentations. The electronic version of your dissertation proposals should be submitted to the email: shufezyd@163.com by your supervisors before 9th of October.
2. Hand in the paper version of your dissertation proposal
Make sure you have printed out the following documents ahead of time:
* “The Dissertation Proposal” (B1) – one copy
* “The Dissertation Proposal Report” (download at: http://spea.shufe.edu.cn/upload/_info/2006000345/69309_1103180409511.doc please notice that Reports not formatted as required will not be accepted) – three copies
The Dissertation Proposal Reports will be handed over to the three teachers at the dissertation proposal presentations. And the Reports shall not be marked with any teacher’s name.
3. Supervisors’ comments for revision.
After the submission of your dissertation proposals, teachers should write down their advice for revision at the “feedback for improvements” column at the Dissertation Proposal Report. The Report, signed by your supervisor and along with the Dissertation Proposal, should be handed to the Graduate Students Secretary of the School.
4. Important: Students who fail to pass the dissertation proposal process will be given a second chance within another week. Upon second time failure, the student can not continue with any further process of the dissertation project for graduation.
