Notice on Establishing SPEA Alumni Association

Dear Alumni,

 

Hello!

 

Whether you were graduates in the relevant specialties in formal Financial Department, Public Finance Department, Wantai International Investment School, School of Finance, and School of Economics, or the current SPEA, or you had studied, worked, and researched here, you are our dear alumni and had made contribution to the construction and development of SPEA. All the SPEAers, adhered to the School Motto Be Virtuous and Learned, contribute to the social and the world, made excellent achievements in their own positions, motivated the youth continued to forge ahead, fight forward, and strive constantly.

 

To enhance the alumniship, promote alumni’s communication, exchange and cooperation, build interact platform for alumni and alma mater, and provide better service for our Alumni, according to SUFE Alumni Association Regulation, approved by SUFE Alumni Association, we decided to establish the SUFE SPEA Alumni Association in December 5, 2015. We are now announcing the preparation affairs as below.

 

 

1. Establish Preparation Team

We establish Preparation Team based on current alumni group, especially SPEA related teachers and warm-hearted alumni, in charge of the detailed works.

 

 

2. Recommend and elect Directors

The Alumni Association will elect several directors from all the alumni. We will decide the preliminary candidates through organization recommendation, alumni recommendation, class/grade recommendation, and self-recommendation, then the candidate list will be discussed by the Preparation Team, approved by the School, and voted in the Inaugurating Meeting.

 

Director Qualification:

SPEA Alumni, law-abiding;

Warm-hearted in alumni work and be willing to sacrifice;

Have strong calling in alumni and be willing to serve;

Have good organization ability, interpersonal and communication ability;

Have great influence and high reputation in society and industry.

 

Recommendation Principle:

We will take full consideration of grades, specialties, industries, areas, and ages, reflecting the principle of diversify.

Alumni of undergraduates will be recommend mainly through class or grades while graduates will be recommend through organization, alumni, and self recommendation.

 

Director Quota

1978-2000 undergraduate alumni: 1/class, total 98; 2001-2011 undergraduate alumni: 1/grade, total 11.

No quota limit for candidates through organization, alumni and self recommendation.

Our alumni who take directors in SUFE Alumni Association or SUFE Provincial Alumni Association will automatic become SPEA Alumni Association Director and no quota limit.

 

Recommendation Process

The recommended candidates should download and fill in the SUFE SPEA Alumni Association Director Candidate Recommendation Form in the attachment, and mail to peaxyh@shufe.edu.cn before 22:00 in August 22, 2015.

 

 

3. Preparation Schedule

October 18: decide preparation team;

October 21- November 8: discuss and recommend director candidates

November 9- November 22: draft and decide SPEA Alumni Association Regulation(Draft); decide candidates for directors, standing directors, president, vice president, secretary general, and vice secretary general.

November 23- December 2: decide the inaugurating meeting agenda, electing method, confirm participants and location, print relevant material.

December 3- December 4: the final preparation

December 5: the Inaugurating Meeting

 

 

Warm welcome to participate the Inaugurating Meeting and witness the booming development of SPEA and SUFE. We set this as invitation and please inform each other.

Alumni with willingness to participate the meeting could contact with the Preparation Team before November 30 so that we can give overall consideration.
