Zhang Sisi was the Bachelor of Economics at Wuhan University in 2002 and the PhD of Economics at Boston College in 2009. She once worked in American Think tank Urban Institute and American Fannie Mae. Now she is the Associate Professor of Institute of Higher Education at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Her research areas are Labor Economics, Urban and Real Estate Economics, Public Policy. She ever published papers on American Economic Review (Papers and Proceedings), Review of Industrial Organization, American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Journal of Population Economics, Demography, Economics Bulletin.
