Dr. Cao Xinyu is Associate Professor in City and Regional Planning, School of Public Affairs at University of Minnesota, America and Distinguished Visiting Professor of Geography and Space Planning Research Institute at Shaanxi Normal University. He mainly studies Relationship between Built Environment and Transportation Behavior, Impact of Telecommunications Technology on Transportation Behavior, and Low-carbon Coty. In the past ten years, he published 45 academic essays, and 40 were published on SCI and SSCI journals. Cao Xinyu is the member of Transportation Research Board, member of editor committee of Transportation, Environment and Behavior, Travel Behavior and Society, guest editor of Transportation Research D, Journal of Regional Science, Travel Behavior and Society, Transportation Letters, and Transport Policy. Now he takes the position of Vice-president in International Association for China Planning.
