Alfred M. Wu is assistant professor of Department of Asian and Policy Study in The Hong Kong Institute of Education. His main fields of research are Public Department Administration and Reformation, Intro-provincial Financial Relationship, Corruption and Management. He currently hosts a program named “Outstanding Young Scholar Plan” for studying the equalization in public finance distribution, which is funded by Hong Kong Subsidy for Research. His academic papers are often published on both English and Chinese Journals (E.g. World Development, Publius: The Journal of Federalism, Public Choice, Journal of Urban Affairs, Environment and Urbanization, Review of Public Personnel Administration, Ageing and Society, Journal of Contemporary China, Sociological Studies, Chinese Public Administration, Journal of Public Management, Journal of Public Administration).
