Prof. Xiong Guangqing is Vice-dean of School of International Relations of UIBE. In 2013, he was elected to join New Century Excellent Talent Support Plan of Ministry of Education. In 2014, he was elected to join Outstanding Youth Scholar Development Plan of UIBE. He once was the visiting scholar of Institute of East Asia, National University of Singapore, Contract Research fellow of Chinese Society of Ideological and Political Work, and part-time researcher of Country Reformation Development Collaborative Innovation Centre. He mainly studies contemporary China Politics Development and Comparative Political Institutions.
