FAN Gangzhi is Associate Professor and PhD Supervisor in Department of Real Estate, School of Business Administration, Konkuk University. He graduated from Renmin University of China with Bachelor’s Degree in Land Administration, National University of Singapore with Master’s Degree in Real Estate and National University of Singapore with PhD in Real Estate in 2005. During 2004 to 2007, he worked as Research Assistant and then Researcher in Department of Real Estate of NUS, participated in several projects including A comparative study of the real estate price index, Evaluation of the effectiveness of the Singapore land policy, exploration research of real options and large real estate development projects. He took Associate Professor of Institute of Economics and Administration in Southwest University of Finance and Economics during 2007 to 2010. Then, he joined the Department of Real Estate of Konkuk University and hosted two Social Science Projects of National Research Foundation of Korea. His researches focus on Investment and Financing of Real Estate, Investment Option Model, Housing Economics and Policy, Urban Economics, Pension and Social Security. He ranked 31 in the World Real Estate Academic Ability Ranking in 2011-2015 and 28 in 2012-2016. He published more than 20 paper in international and domestic well-known Journals as Journal of Risk and Insurance(SSCI), Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics(SSCI), Urban studies(SSCI), Emerging Markets Finance and Trade(SSCI), Economic Research Journal, Journal of Financial Research, China Economic Quarterly, and Statistical Research.
