On the afternoon of Jan 14, 2014, the 2013 annual commendation meeting of SPEA was held in a joyful atmosphere. Nearly 100 faculty of SPEA gathered together, reviewing the whole years’ excellence, sharing work feeling, commending Model Person, and predicting the prosperous future. With a principle of “practicing strict economy and combating waste”, the meeting was happy and warm, and was highly praised by the attended teachers. In the joyful phoenix building, SPEAers said goodbye to the old year and welcome the new.
SUFE CPC Secretary Cong Shuhai gave a passionate new year’s address, and made a speech on Pursuing excellence to make top specialties and a top school.
Dean of SPEA Yu Wei gave a report on SPEA’s overall work of the year 2013. Prof. Yu reviewed and summarized the shinning achievements SPEA has made on talent training, discipline construction, academic research, and students work, and wished a further success in the new year.
Vice dean Liu Xiaochuan gave a speech to summary annual work of the institute of China’s public finance.
Prof. Hu Yijian gave a speech to summary annual work of the institute of public policy and administration.
The commendation meeting was conducted by SPEA Secretary Shen Hui. He expressed heartfelt thanks to the teachers for their great effort in the past year, and extended his best wishes for the next year.
