On the afternoon of March 12, invited by IPPA of SUFE, associate director of policy and regulation department of SAT and council member of IPPA Doctor Tan Heng made a lecture on Analysis on our taxation policy in phoenix building.
Before the lecture, vice president of SUFE Jiang Chuanhai met Tan Heng and issued the certificate of SPEA part-time professor. Dean Hu Yijian introduced the development of IPPA and dean Liu Xiaochuan hosted the lecture.
The lecture included 5 parts: background and direction of deepen fiscal and taxation system reform, understanding on stabilizing tax burden, increasing the rate of direct tax, establishment of local tax system, standardizing management of tax incentives. In the two-hours’ lecture, Prof. Tan made the audience better understand status, problems, and directions of China’s taxation policy with his broad horizon, specific research, rich experience, and vivid expression. The auditorium was packed and full of applause.
After the lecture, Prof. Tan had a informal discussion with Prof. Hu Yijian and other teachers of SPEA, regarding the topics of key issues of policy research, subject cooperation in future, and database construction, and etc.
