On 9th June, 2014, SPEA, China Financial Institute and Institute for Public Policy and Management cohosted 2014 Finance Frontier Forum in Meeting Room 302 in Phoenix Building.
Ma Jun of Tax Research Office, Strategy Institute of Finance and Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Dean of SPEA, Professor Yu Wei, Professor Jiang Hong, Professor Hu Yijian, Professor Zhu Weiqun, Professor Liu Xiaochuan, Deng Shulian, Fu Wenlin, Associate Professor Xu Shuna, Zeng Junping, Liu Shougang, Xu Jing, Gao Lin attended the forum and Assistant Dean Liu Xiaochuan hosted the forum.
The theme of this forum is “The Meaning of Financial Discipline Development: The Field of Theory and Policy Study” which aimed to discuss the future development direction and trend of financial discipline form the angles of policy and theory, based on current society condition. The forum comprised of two parts: Part 1 was about participants’ research achievements in financial policies and financial theories. Part 2 was in the form of seminar to analyze and discuss the frontier problems and development direction of international financial discipline research, raising suggestions for future plan of Finance Frontier Forum.
This forum implicated the new direction for future development of following forums and contributed to the development in depth and widely of our university financial study. At the same time, participants appreciated much that it provided us new ideas in financial discipline teaching.
