With the approaching of Double Ninth Festival in autumn, September of lunar calendar, leaders of party and politics of the School of Public Economics and Administration conducted activities of greetings by inviting retired employees to come back to school and watch theatrical performances of Double Ninth Festival, and visiting retired teachers that was not able to come back.
On 26th September, Secretary Shen Hui, Chairman Gao Xiaohui of Labour Union, Office Director He Huawu accompanied retired teachers that came back to the University to look around the University and presented them with subsidies. They also accompanied the retired teachers to watch ‘Retired Employees of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Celebrating the 65th Anniversary of People’s Republic of China and the Second National Theatrical Performance of Double Ninth Festival”.
As for retired teachers that were less able of action, on 24th and 25th this month, Secretary Shen Hui, Vice Director Liu Xiaobing, Vice Secretary Fang Hui, Chairman Gao Xiaohui of Labour Union and Office Director He Huawu visited teachers Li Feilong, Wu Yongquan, Huang Zhengang, Ge Weixi in their homes and to present gifts and festive greetings.
Leaders of the School sincerely communicated with the retired teachers, thanking them for their hard work and devotion, which was dispensable for the development of the University and the School. It was just because of their diligence that elites of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics emerged to contribute in various industries. It was just because of the inheritance of their accumulated legacy that generations of younger teachers would become their successors. They also expressed their wish that in the future, the retired teachers would continue to care about and support the University and the School, and come back more often in order to provide precious suggestions for all the work in the University and the School.
