On Nov 15, the Fourth National Social Security and Social Policy Excellent Students Academic Forum come to a close in Phoenix Building of SUFE. This Forum is under the name of SPEA and IPPG, organizes by social security and social policy department, and receives great support from SUFE graduate school. The Forum invites National Health and Family Planning Commission Law and Legislation Department Secretary Zhang Chunsheng, Fudan University Social development and Public Policy Institute President and member of Social Security Forum of 30 people Prof. Liang Hong, Nanjing University Government School Vice President and member of Social Security Forum of 30 people Prof. Lin Mingang, member of Social Security Forum of 30 people from SUFE SPEA Prof. Guo Shizheng, and Fudan University Economics School Economics Department Vice Dean Prof. Feng Jin, attracts post-graduates from more than 40 universities, and receives 142 submitted papers. After the careful examination of Forum Organizing Committee, 30 post-graduates from more than 20 universities receives financial aid, give speeches, and report their findings.
The forum is held in a mode combined by keynote speech and sub-forum discussion. There are four keynote expert speeches and six post-graduate sub-forum. There is a special expert lecture that National Health and Family Planning Commission Law and Legislation Department Secretary Zhang Chunsheng shares the updated situation and problems of China’s Social Security Career with presented experts and young scholars.
SPEA vice dean Prof. Liu Xiaobing hosts the opening and gives welcome remarks on behalf of SPEA. Prof. Hu Yijiian, on behalf of IPPG, gives speeches and introduces our development ideas and achievements. Prof. Zou Ping, vice dean of graduate school of SUFE, on behalf of graduate school, shows warm welcome to all the presented post-graduates, and conducts highly appraisal and solicitous hope.
The expert keynote speech part is hosted by Prof. Hu Yijian and Prof. Li Hua. Prof. Lin Mingang, Prof. Liang Hong, Prof. Guo Shizheng, and Prof. Feng Jin give speeches with subjects of China’s Social Security entering optimization developing stage, problem-oriented China’s new medical reform, combination of medical and support being a must for old-age, and welfare effect of China’s postponing retirement age, and they receive high appraisal from the audience.
On the afternoon, Vice dean of SPEA Prof. Liu Xiaochuan hosts the awarding ceremony and Prof. Hu Yijian issues the certificate of distinguished visiting professor of SPEA and IPPG for Secretary Zhang Chunsheng. Then Secretary Zhang gives a splendid speech subjecting on the updates of Social Security Career of new period, combining social security academic theory and developing practice, and deeply attracts the audience.
The following post-graduate sub-forum is also wonderful and sparkling with six subjects on health and medical security, old-age service and security, old-age security and old-age insurance, pension and old-age insurance, social security and social policy, social assistance, welfare, and social policy.
