On the morning of Dec 29, seminar on indicator system of government administrative performance and the subject feasibility study meeting was held on IPPA. This subject is proposed by secretary Cong Shuhai, proceeds from the establishment of our nation’s administrative system and administrative capability, and studies the performance evaluation of local government administration.
This subject is led by SPEA Associate Prof Geng Shu, and the attendees include Vice Dean Chen Xuelian from Politic development institute of Compilation and Translation Bureau, CCCPC, distinguished scholar Doctor Lv Jie from school of public affairs of American University, Dean Hu Yijian from IPPA, associate Prof Zeng Jimao from SPEA, together with Fu Kairuo, Lin Ruihua, and other experts and students. They have had an in-depth study and discussion on the aspects of theory outline, evaluation content, and indicator system.
During the seminar, they reach an agreement on cooperative study between IPPA and Politic development institute of Compilation and Translation Bureau,CCCPC. They also made a plan to evaluate local government performance starting from around 10 cities and expanding to 280, and publish the study report every year. What’s more, vice dean Chen Xuelian gave a keynote report on Research on innovation impetus mechanism of China’s local governments.
