In Sept. 3 to 5, 2015, Prof. Chen Jie attended the 2015 IUHF World Congress in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and gave speech, receiving warm response from the audience.
The International Union of Housing Finance(IUHF), founded in 1914, is an international NPO aiming at international exchange of housing finance. Up to now, 108 housing finance related corporations, associations, and government supervision organizations from 46 countries have become its members. Its headquarter locates in Belgium.
The IUHF World Congress holds every two years and the attendees are mainly come from its member organizations. It is the 29 th Congress this year held in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and more than 200 representatives from 49 countries attended the congress. Prof. Chen Jie is the only Chinese Speaker in these many years. He gave a keynote speech in the second special meeting after the opening ceremony, introducing China’s macro economy, real estate market, and real estate finance reform. The audience showed warm response and many guests came to communicate with him after the speech, which included executive vice president of the central bank of Pakistan, president of IUHF, Secretary-general of Brazil Urban Department, and other distinguished guests. Other guests also quoted Prof. Chen’s view and material as their supporting arguments to China’s real estate market.
Prof. Chen Jie’s speech improved international acknowledge to China’s real estate market, promoted international exchange, and won SUFE respect and honor.
