On Oct. 1 to 3, SPEA Professor Fu Wenlin, Professor Deng Shulian, and Associate Professor Xu Shuna attended the 2015 Annual Meeting of Association for Budgeting and Financial Management(ABFM). It’s the first time our SPEA teachers attending the meeting. The meeting is an international financial budgeting workshop held by ABFM. They collect essays globally and pick the best ones for meeting communication. Our SPEA professors submitted three essays and were invited to attend the meeting.
This meeting set a special forum for China’s budgeting reform and, Tom Lauth, Professor of Emeritus, University of Georgia host the forum. Our SPEA professors introduced their essays respectively. The attended American peers spoke highly of each essay and gave suggestions for further research and improvement to publish in SSCI. At the same time, our professors also attended the communication with American peers, gained better understanding of frontier questions in international financial budgeting, and established stable academic exchange relations. It has a great meaning for us to improve our research and teaching ability, to enhance international exchange and cooperation, and to serve for our financial and taxation theory and practice.
