On Nov 16, CPFI President Gao Qiang, together with Deputy Director of NPC Budgetary Affairs Commission Yao Sheng, CPFI Executive President Liu Xiaochuan, Deputy Dean of SUFE SPEA Liu Xiaobing went to Wuhan for investigation.
In the morning, the investigation Group had a seminar with Wuhan Municipal People’s Congress. The Seminar was presided by Huang Keqiang, vice party secretary of Wuhan Municipal People’s Congress. First, Dean of Wuhan Municipal People’s Congress Budgetary Affairs Commission Zhu Gangqiao gave a report on How to implement the New Budget Law and enhance budget review and supervision. Then, vice president of Wuhan Jianghan University Zhang Xiaoling reported on University Financial Management characteristics and suggestions on NPC budgetary management. At last, President Gao Qiang made a summary on how to carry out the 13th five-year plan and how to exercise the right of People’s Congress.
In the afternoon, the Investigation Group had a seminar with Wuhan Municipal Government. Represents from Wuhan Finance Bureau, SAT Wuhan Office, Wuhan Local Tax Bureau, Wuhan Development and Reform Commission, and Wuhan Economy and IT Commission, reported on Wuhan’s detailed information on Finance status, Tax source and Income, and economic problems in New Normal. After the reports, the investigation group had an in-depth communication with the many departments and President Gao Qiang made a final conclusion.
The Seminar ended successfully.
