On the morning of Dec 5, SPEA Alumni Association Inaugural Meeting was successfully held in the Entrepreneurship Training Center. Nearly 200 Alumni representatives came together and witnessed the moment.
At 10 in the morning, the Inaugural Meeting began in the solemn national anthem and presided by SPEA party secretary Shen Hui. Lin Hong, Alumnus of 87 Capital Construction class2, introduced the preparation condition to all the presented alumni. Zhang Yanbo, SUFE Alumni Association Vice General-Secretary, announced the approvement. Then, SUFE President Fan Liming, and Vice President Fang Hua made the unveiling for SUFE SPEA Alumni Association. Accompanied with exciting music, President Fan Liming, awarded War Flags with Humanity Reading Club, Music and Sports Club, Traveling and Photography Club, and Delicious Food Club to each club leader. The Flags arose alumni’s passion.

President Fan Liming made warm notes. She said that, the establishment of SPEA Alumni Association is a happy event for all our alumni and has profound meaning in SUFE’s development. Fan Liming introduced the 98-years’ developing history of SUFE and pointed out that, Alumni are the main founders and contributors of SUFE’s history. Every development and achievement are the result of Alumni’s efforts. She wished that SPEA Alumni Association become a platform for Alumni’s union, communication, and cooperation, and called out that, alumni would contribute more to the development of alma mater and the whole society.

Alumni Yang Zhilei and Yan Lan, on behalf of brother association from home and abroad, extended their congratulation on the foundation of SPEA Alumni Association. They wished that SPEA Alumni Association would become a platform for alumni communication, and make full use of the alumni resource to contribute to SUFE’s development.

The meeting reviewed and approved SUFE SPEA Alumni Association Regulation, and elected executive council members and council members. Zhou Weiming is elected president and Lin Hong general-secretary, Yan zhenyu and other 11 alumni are elected vice president or vice general-secretary.

Zhou Weiming said, alumni would turn success together with alma mater. Alumni and alma mater would be support for each other. SPEA Alumni Association, aims at serving alumni, serving alma mater, and serving society, establishes platform for co-learning, co-encouragement, and co-development, and builds ties for alumni and alma mater.

After the meeting, presented alumni visited the phoenix building. In the afternoon, they took various activities as My SUFE My SPEA Alumni Photo Contest, Take Exercise and Keep Health Alumni Football Contest, Old Wisdom Bao Pengshan Traditional Culture Lecture, Cook for her/him Alumni Dumplings Making, and Let’s Talk Afternoon Tea. In the evening, alumni talked and made dumplings in Lvye Canteen. Every child has a mother. Alumni expressed their gratitude and wished SUFE a better future.
