Aiming at promote the communication among scholars and experts in Pubic Finance, Taxation, and Public Economics, SPEA, together with Peking University, Renming University, Xiamen University, and Wuhan University, initiated the China Public Finance Forum. The First Forum held in School of Economics of Peking University in Dec 5 to 6, 2015. The attendees included scholars from Peking University, Research Institute for Fiscal Science of Ministry of Finance, Fudan University, Nankai University, Tsinghua University, Wuhan University, Renming University, and Chinese Academy of Social Science, and Editors from Economic Research Journal, the Journal of World Economy, Finance & Trade Economics, Public Finance Research, Taxation Research, and so on. This Forum aims at establishing a high level platform for the communication among scholars and experts in Pubic Finance, Taxation, and Public Economics and to promote cooperation through in-depth discussion.
Six SPEA Papers were selected and they are from Professor Fu Wenlin, Professor Fan Ziying, Associated Professor Wu Yiping, Dr. Zhang Muyang, Dr. Liu Zhikuo, and Dr. Guo Changling; Deputy Dean Liu Xiaobing was invited as representative of initiator and attended the round-table discuss of Fiscal Policy and Income distribution. The Forgotten Financial Market Distortion: How do Positive Fiscal Policy significant influence Resident Consumption by Dr. Guo Changling was awarded Excellent Paper.
