On December 17, 2015, the inaugural meeting of the Shanghai Higher Education Investment Evaluation Consultation Committee was held in Shanghai Academy of Educational Sciences. SPEA Deputy Dean, CPPCC Member Professor Liu Xiaobing was invited to attend the meeting and, recommended by CPPCC, took the role as committee member and accepted the certificate from deputy secretary-general Zong Ming.
Shanghai Higher Education Investment Evaluation Consultation Committee is a non-permanent organization providing evaluation consultation for government policies on Higher education investment. Its main responsibilities include providing evaluation and consultation suggestions on Higher education development and reform plan, providing suggestions on higher education major investment policies, providing scientific evaluation on investment policies implementation, providing supervision, inspection and evaluation on usage and performance of co-build local funds and college funds, providing supervision, inspection and evaluation on college chief accountant system implementation and providing improvement and advice.
