On Jan 16, the 2015 SPEA Professional Masters’ Teaching Meeting was held in room 302 in phoenix building at 13:30. Party Secretary Shen Hui, Vice-Secretary Fang Hui, Deputy Dean Professor Fu Wenlin, MT Teaching Center Dean Professor Zhu Weiqun, and more than 50 internal and external MT&MV Tutors attended this meeting. MV Teaching Center Dean Liu Wei chaired the meeting.
This meeting included two sections and first is the centralized meeting. Party Secretary Shen Hui made welcome speech to attended teachers. He recalled past annual meetings since 2011, extended heartfelt thanks to external tutors for their support and contribution on the development of SPEA Professional Degrees, and wished that tutors could remain closely attention and strong support and share more experience and suggestions.
SPEA Graduate Academic Secretary Li YIngping made comprehensive and detailed report on the development of external tutors of both MT and MV. Her report includes outlook, teaching status, non-teaching status, and management system, reflected the developing process and achieved results of our external tutor system on Professional Degrees.
How about the graduates’ quality? Whether they can be accepted by society and corporate is the key issue that teachers concerned. Graduate Counselor Wang Bin made introduction on the recruitment and employment situation. He analyzed recruitment status, overall employment status, detailed employment status and employment improvement, summarized our success on talent training, and raised some concerning issues, which received numerous sympathetic response.
MV Teaching Center Dean Liu Wei made summary on professional degree’ annual work, included 2015’s achievement and 2016’s plan. In 2015, we conducted great effort on completing Discipline evaluation work, drafting Selecting rules of external tutor,improving recruitment scheme, stimulating graduates employment, and gained good result; in 2016, our main work in to control students’ dissertation, study system reform issue, and solve reemployment issue of external tutors.
The last part of the Centralized Meeting is external tutor awarding ceremony. This year, three MV tutors and 6 MT tutors are employed and Secretary Shen Hui and Professor Zhu Weiqun issued certificates.
Followed the Centralized meeting is the panel meeting for MT and MV. Tutors have had warm discussion, raised their concerns and exchanged their opinions and suggestions. The 2015 Professional Masters’ Teaching Meeting ended in a pleasant atmosphere.
