MCM/ICM is the only international Mathematical Contest in Modeling, the most influential Mathematical Contest in Modeling, and the pioneer of recent Mathematical Contest in Modeling. It contains MCM and ICM, holds by Mathematical Association of America and its Application of federation, and sponsored by SIAM, NSA, INFORMS. MCM/ICM laid emphasis on original solution, team cooperation, and rational results.
SUFE’s MCM started from 1998. Feng Suwei set courses on Mathematical Modeling, economic modeling, Economic modeling theory and method, promoting the development of Mathematical Modeling in SUFE. She obtained Shanghai Division excellent coach of the national college students' mathematical modeling competition, and her teaching program Mathematical modeling course teaching system for financial professional obtained First Prize of SUFE Teaching Achievement.
