On the afternoon of Nov. 18, SUFE Fiscal transparency Project Team talked with visitors from Shandong Provincial Financial Department, on a topic of further promote provincial fiscal transparency.
The fiscal transparency status of Shandong ranked first batch in recent years, which related to the strong support from provincial leaders and great efforts of fiscal department. From the talk, we realized that, Shandong Province paid highly attention on SUFE Fiscal Transparency Project, and tried their best to prepare relevant information to meet our requirements. To improve the budgeting transparency, they established a special team to organize and coordinate each department, which is the first time throughout the country. Visitors also showed their gratitude to SUFE Project Team. Chief Accountant Yuan Peijin shared their work and effort in promoting fiscal transparency, and exchanged his opinion on how to further promote the level.
Dean Liu Xiaobing extended our warm welcome to Shandong Provincial Finance Department Chief Accountant Yuan Peijin and his team, and introduced the background, purpose, and general evaluation status of fiscal transparency project. Professor Jiang Hong, Professor Deng Shulian, and Yang Danfang talked with the visitors on how to further promote fiscal transparency and the exiting problems.
The talk improved the acknowledge of both sides, and provided great help for further improvement.
