On the afternoon of Dec. 21, the Awarding Ceremony for Second Batch External Practice Base and External Tutors and the Seminar for Undergraduates Discipline Construction was held in room 302 in phoenix building. Deputy Dean Yang Cuiying presided the meeting. FX168 Group President and CEO Mr. Jiang Tai, Shanghai Hongming Investment GM Mr. Ye Shizhen, Shanghai Jinrun Group President, Shanghai 7050 Health Management President Mr. Ji Jiongrun and Shanghai Weijia Real Estate Consulting Deputy GM Ms. Sun Jing attended the meeting as corporate representatives while SPEA Party secretary Fang Fang, Dean Liu Xiaobing, Department Director, and Academic office Director attended the meeting.
Secretary Fang Fang and Dean Liu Xiaobing made notes. Secretary Fang, on behalf of SPEA, extended warm welcome to presented guests, and promoted new hope on SPEA external practice base. She said, practice is crucial part of undergraduate education and it needs cooperation between school and society. She encouraged external tutors to promote more suggestions and conduct more exchange. Dean Liu, combined his working practice, extended his good wish on the cooperation. He said, the construction of external practice base is a good opportunity for further cooperation on talent training.
Then, Secretary Fang issued certificates for four external practice bases, while Dean Liu issued certificates for external tutors. And they took photos with guests.
After the awarding ceremony, attendees conducted a fierce discussion on students practice and discipline construction. Department Directors introduced their discipline development status and current problems. External tutors, based on their professional background and social practice, shared many constructive suggestions. They suggested that we should begin with macro and micro knowledge, cultivate students’ on-job ability, professional technical, and soft skills, adopted theoretical teaching and on-job practice, fully elevate students’ academic and practical talent.
At last, Deputy Dean Yang made summary. She said, we would adopted tutors suggestions and invited tutors to join our curriculum set up to further improve students’ practice ability.
