During Jan 5 to Jan 6 2017, the 2017 SPEA Doctoral Recruitment Work was held in SPEA phoenix building. This Doctoral Recruitment adopted Application Assessment System and Principle of fairness, justice, and openness. Through first review and comprehensive assessment, students are recruited according to their comprehensive ability and research potential.

After the overall review and restrict selection, 60 applicants passed first review and entered comprehensive assessment stage. Comprehensive Assessment includes research foundation assessment and comprehensive ability interview, reviewing students’ basic academic level, acquired academic achievement, training potential, and comprehensive talent.
The interviewers are SPEA professors and scholars in related areas and they focused on the assessment of students’ profession base, research innovation ability, logical thinking ability, comprehensive research ability, research potential. During the interview, students first made self-introductions and then answered related questions from interviewers to display their profession ability and research potential. The whole interview was recorded to ensure the fairness.



On the afternoon of Jan 6, after two days’ comprehensive assessment, the 2017 SPEA Doctoral Recruitment Work successfully completed in tight and order atmosphere.
