SPEA Public Administration and Labor and Social Security Discipline Plans Pass Expert Evaluation

On the afternoon of March 24, the SPEA Public Administration and Labor and Social Security discipline construction and development plan evaluation meeting was held in Room 202 in Phoenix Building. SPEA Vice Dean Professor Yang Cuiying presided the meeting while East China Normal University Professor Zhong Renyao, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Professor Zhang Xiaoyi, Professor Xu Jialiang, Fudan University Professor Gu Limei attended the evaluation. SUFE  Public Administration Dept. Dean Professor He Jinghua, SPEA Dean Assistant and Social Security Dept. Dean Associate Professor Zhang Yi made reports.

 

The reports summarized current status of discipline construction, pointed out basic guidance, ideas and goals, discussed training specification, scale, faculty, scheme, curriculum, and academy, and introduced leadership, management system, self assessment, and fund investment. The two departments agreed that, we should maintain exiting talent training scale, combine with social needs and higher education development rule, enhance discipline characteristic and advantage, and train senior talent. The expert team had fierce discussion and carefully reviewed the discipline construction and development plan.

 

The expert team agreed that the plans of disciplines of Public Administration and Labor and Social Security have accurate location, clear target and feasible ideas. At the same time, they suggest that the plan of Public Administration should enhance faculty introduction and adjust curriculum system, while the plan of Labor and Social Security should adopt special policy to introduce top teachers. Our Public Administration and Labor and Social Security Discipline Construction and Development Plan successfully passed the expert evaluation.
