On the morning of April 12, 2017, a group of five, including Ministry of Finance Treasury Department Inspector Lou Hong, Treasury Department Budget Implementation Office Investigator Si Shuyao, Budgeting Department Regulations Office Investigator Huang Quanming, Social Security Department Comprehensive Office Deputy Dean Gui Xiong, Supervision and Inspection Bureau Finance and Economics Discipline Supervision Department Leader Jiang Shan, came to SPEA to investigate our work on Public Finance Transparency, accompanied by Shanghai Municipal Finance Bureau Treasury Department Leader Xu Heping. SPEA Dean Professor Liu Xiaobing, Research Center for Public Policy Dean Professor Jiang Hong, SUFE Academic Department Deputy Dean Associate Professor Zheng Chunrong, together with China Public Policy Transparency Investigation Project Team members Professor Deng Shulian, Associate Professor Yang Danfang, Associate Professor Wen Jiaoxiu, attended the meeting.
In the meeting, the MOF Investigation group and the project team members had discussed and exchanged on evaluation criterion, evaluation method, index setting, score weighting of China Public Finance Transparency Report, and studied together the ideas and measures to improve our nation’s public finance transparency.
