During April 17 to 19, the 13 th Shanghai Congress of Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang(RCCK) was solemnly held in Friendship Hall of Shanghai Exhibition Center. The standing committee of the National People's Congress Vice Chairman and RCCK Central Committee Chairman Wang E’xiang and CPC Shanghai Committee Vice Secretary Yin Hong presented the meeting and made speeches on behalf of RCCK Central Committee and CPC Shanghai Committee respectively. CPC Shanghai Committee Director and the United Front Work Department Director Sha Hailing read the welcome letter from CPC Shanghai Committee. China National Democratic Construction Association Central Committee Vice Chairman and Shanghai Committee President Zhou Hanmin made congratulation speech on behalf of democratic parties Shanghai committees and Shanghai Federation of Industry & Commerce. The CPPCC former Vice Chairman and RCCK Central Committee former First Vice Chairman Li Wuwei, Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress Vice President Xue Chao, Shanghai Municipal Government Deputy Mayor Weng Tiehui, and CPPCC Shanghai Committee Vice Chairman Xu Yibo were invited to present the meeting.
The Congress elected the 14 th RCCK Shanghai Committee Directors, the 13 RCCK National Congress Shanghai Representatives, reviewed and approved several important documents including the 13 th RCCK Shanghai Committee Working Report and the 13 th RCCK Shanghai Congress Resolution, and successfully accomplished the handover task.
The RCCK SUFE Committee Chairman Professor Liu Xiaobing was elected the new RCCK Shanghai Committee Director and the 13 th RCCK National Congress Shanghai Representative, and sat on the rostrum in the closing ceremony.
The RCCK SUFE Committee Chairman and SPEA Dean Liu Xiaobing, former Chairman Professor Jiang Hong, Member Pan Jie attended the meeting as official representatives and participated in the voting, while member Zhang Yi attended the closing ceremony as a nonvoting delegate.
On the afternoon of 18, during the 13 th RCCK Shanghai Congress, the 2012-2017 RCCK Shanghai Committee Commendation on Political Participation was held. The commendation was hosted by RCCK Shanghai Committee Vice Chairman Dong Bo, and RCCK Shanghai Committee Chairman Gao Xiaomei, Vice Chairman Dong Bo, Chen Yongliang, Zhu Chenggang, Li Dongliang, Wang Huimin, Secretary General Hua Yifeng, RCCK Central Committee Organization Department Minister Ye Zanping, RCCK Central Committee Supervisory Committee Director Sha Zhenquan presented the commendation and issued the awards for the winning organizations and individuals. The commendation elected 16 Political Participation Advanced Collectives and 60 Advanced Individuals. RCCK SUFE Committee was awarded Political Participation Advanced Collective, while RCCK SUFE Committee Chairman Professor Liu Xiaobing, Vice Chairman Professor Yang Cuiying, former Chairman Professor Jiang Hong were awarded Political Participation Advanced Individual. After the meeting, the RCCK Shanghai Committee Chairman Gao Xiaomei took group photo with RCCK SUFE Committee representatives.
