On April 15 th, to welcome the 100 th anniversary of SUFE, the second station activity of Welcome SUFE’s 100 th Anniversary, Trace SUFE’s Footprints, initiated and organized by SUFE SPEA Alumni Association and SUFE Nanjing Alumni Association, co-organized by SPEA, kicked off in Shanghai.
With breeze and warm climate, the April’s Shanghai is in beautiful spring. On the occasion of SUFE’s 100 th anniversary, more than 100 alumni from all over the world gathered in Shanghai, and SUFE leaders like SUFE Vice President Fang Hua, SPEA Party Secretary Fang Fang accompanied alumni to visit the International Institute of China, No. 834 Xiafei Road, the Bund, Shanghai Academy of Social Science, and SUFE original track, listen to lecture by Prof. Bao, and look for the evolution of Shanghai and SUFE. The SUFE red became a unique scenery in the road. With happy laughter and cheerful voices, they looked back the youth of SUFE and tasted the passion-burning days.
In the west proverbs, there is a saying that “appreciation is the first step to goodness”. The “Huiai” fund is such an existence which converge goodness and deliver it. The charity dinner pushed the activity “looking for roots” to a new high. 2010SHIRAZ red wine and Yi Wu ancient Puer donated by President Zhou Weiming and Mr. Wang Mi separately were auctioned by Yang Zhilei and Ji Jiongrun. The earnings were donated to the “Huiai serious disease assistance fund” through SUFE donation platform, which would be converged to the broad sea and help more students and alumni.
The second station (Shanghai) activity of Welcome SUFE’s 100 th Anniversary, Trace SUFE’s Footprints, ended in the curtain of night. Although happy time was always short, we needn’t be regretful. 100-years’ SUFE is still young. Let’s look forward to the next reunion.
