During April 21 to 22, 2017, the 2017 Society of Public Finance of China Annual Meeting and the 21 th National Public Finance Theory Pro-seminar was held in Beijing. Society of Public Finance of China President and National Council for Social Security Fund President Lou Jiwei attended the meeting and presented speech, Society of Public Finance of China Vice President and Ministry of Finance Assistant Minister Dai Baihua hosted the meeting, and SPEA Cong Shuhai, Liu Xiaobing, Deng Shulian, and Guo Changling attended the meeting. Professor Cong Shuhai made speech on Public Finance Governance under the New Normal, while Professor Liu Xiaobing made speeches in two sub-forums respectively on Thinking on Public Finance Disciplinary Attribute and Rethinking on China’s Public Finance Structural Reform.
The 6 th National Public Finance Excellent Achievement Awarding Ceremony was held at the same time. In total 135 awards, SUFE received 13 honors, which is 9.63% of the total. SPEA teachers were first addressors in 7 of them, and second addressors in 2 of them, achieved fruitful results.
