On May 6, SPEA representatives, on behalf of SUFE, went to Nanjing to sign contract of co-building Excellent Student Base and hold the listing ceremony with three provincial key schools, Nanjing No.1 Middle School, High School Affiliated To Nanjing Normal University and Nanjing Foreign Language School. It was also the time of the Inaugural Meeting of SUFE Jiangsu Alumni Association. The presented leaders include President Fan Liming, Vice President Fang Hua, Deputy Director Yang Qingyu, Admission Office Deputy Director Peng Xi, Continuing Education School Party Secretary Zhang Yanbo, Economics School Party Secretary Wang Fang, SPEA Deputy Dean Yang Cuiying, Associated Professor Fu Chun.
In the Inaugural Meeting, Deputy Director Yang Qingyu announced the official reply from SUFE Alumni Association, Vice President Fang Hua unveiled the nameplate of Jiangsu Alumni Association, and President Fan Liming issued the awards of Excellent Student Base to the three schools.
In the Awarding Ceremony, Nanjing No.1 Middle School President You Xiaoping made speech as Excellent Student Base school representative. He first congratulated SUFE on its 100 th birthday and the establishment of Jiangsu Alumni Association, spoke highly of SUFE’s place and regarded SUFE as a leader and an important exist in China’s higher education, and expected that SUFE could provide more support and instruction in ideas and faculty to the Excellent Student Bases.
Then, Deputy Dean Yang Cuiying and Deputy Director Peng Xi, on behalf of SUFE, signed the contract with the three schools, and discussed and exchanged with them on the development issues. The schools agreed on the idea of Fight out and invite in. They encouraged students to fight out through activities like SUFE summer camp, and wished to invite SUFE teachers to hold lectures and elective courses.
This signing and listing ceremony further enhanced SUFE’s influence in Jiangsu Province and the whole Yangtze River Delta Area, and clarify the direction for excellent students selecting SUFE.
