During May 11 to 13, SPEA teacher Dr. Zhang Muyang went to Hong Kong Baptist University(HKBU) for academic exchange and shared report on Capability and Opportunism: Evidence from City Officials in China.
During the exchange, Department of Economics Director Associate Professor Zheng Liusheng received Dr. Zhang Muyang, while Department of Economics Associate Professor Wu Boxiong, Associate Professor Zhang Hongliang, Assistant Professor Wang Ruixin, Assistant Professor Luo Peiyu and many PhD students attended the report meeting. Scholars in HKBU paid more attention on the theoretic implication. The report and exchange activity had an active influence in improving the theoretic meaning of the paper. After the report, Dr. Zhang Muyang exchanged with HKBU Economics Department teachers on the issues like China economic research and economic teaching.
