On the morning of June 1, 2017, MOF Treasury Department Team including Inspector Liu Ping, Director Liu Ying and Director Wen Ji came to SPEA to exchange and discuss department budget information disclosure work. SPEA Dean Professor Liu Xiaobing, Public Policy Research Center Dean Professor Jiang Hong, SUFE Academic Department Deputy Director Associate Professor Zheng Chunrong, and China Public Finance Transparency Investigation Project Team members Professor Deng Shulian, Associate Professor Zeng Junping, Associate Professor Wen Jiaoxiu attended the meeting.
In the meeting, Inspector Liu Ping introduced the general situation of government promoting department budget information disclosure in recent years, while Director Liu Ying and Director Wen Ji introduced their achievements and the adoption and feedback of related suggestions. Professor Liu Xiaobing, Professor Jiang Hong and the related members promoted further opinions and suggestions, which include clarifying the relationship between department budget and total budget, reforming classification accounts on budget income and expenditure, and improving information disclosure method on project expenditure.
