On the morning of June 6, 2017, the opening ceremony of Jiangxi Provincial United Front Work Department the 21 th provincial non-party backbone training class was held in room 401 Bosi Building. Jiangxi Provincial Vice Governor and Provincial non-party intellectuals Association President Xie Ru, Jiangxi Provincial United Front Work Department Vice Director Gao Yingqun, SUFE Vice Party Secretary Chen Hong, and SPEA Party Secretary Fang Fang attended the ceremony.
The ceremony was hosted by Vice Director Gao Yingqun, while SUFE vice party secretary Chen Hong made welcome speech. Chen Hong extended our warm welcome to the students, on behalf of SUFE and SPEA, and introduced the 100 years’ history of SUFE development. As an advanced financial institute with a long history, SUFE adheres to the motto ”be virtuous and learned, and make contribution to the society”, aims at the task of talent training, emphases on both undergraduates and graduates, and forms the discipline system which concentrates on economic management and harmonious develops multi-disciplines including economics, management, laws arts, and science. In the third round discipline ranking by ministry of education, SUFE is the only financial institute whose major disciplines all ranked top 10, with its statistics ranks 4, applied economics 6, business administration 8, and theoretic economics 10. The 2017 is the 100 birthday of SUFE. With hundred years’ history, and with the concept of “face the society, be realistic and pragmatic, strengthen moral education and cultivate people, and make contribution”, SUFE is trying its best to promote double-top construction and is making efforts to become a well-known high-level research university with strong financial characteristics. Then, Secretary Chen Hong introduced the status of organizer, SPEA, which has rich experience in organizing high-level non-academic education training. He pointed out that this training class aims to, through theoretic knowledge and social practice, help students emancipate mind, change ideas, exchange experience, and improve cognitive, having profound significance. Secretary Chen Hong showed gratitude to Jiangxi Provincial United Front Work Department, and promised that SPEA will equip excellent teaching team and provide outstanding service, wished all the students, during the learning period in SPEA, learn and earn, happy and success.
Then, Jiangxi Provincial Vice Governor and Provincial non-party intellectuals Association President Xie Ru introduced the background of this training class in SUFE. She said that, choosing SUFE as the training place is well considered and contains deep meaning. After established the Pilot Free Trade Zone, Shanghai actively explores in the aspects of forming more open and transparent investment system, improving trade facilitation level, deepening financial system innovation, and promoting government administration reform. Learning in SUFE, the Cradle of Entrepreneurs, Financiers, Economists, and Accountants, students can absorb rich spiritual sustenance and enjoy theoretic knowledge, and feel the pulse and vitality of Shanghai, and expand vision and mentality. In the end, Vice Governor Xie promoted three detailed requirements to students. The first is to recognize the importance of learning. Learning is a kind of spirit, a kind of state, a kind of responsibility, a kind of pursue, and it is urgent need of improving leaders’ comprehensive ability, objective requirement of promoting public finance development, and major measure of strengthening public finance cadre team building. The second is to grasp the key points and improve learning concentration. Learning will improve intelligence, cultivate virtue, and help practice. The curricular is well designed with rich content and practical cases, and our students should observe with eyes, feel with heart, think with brain, and improve the ability. The third is to be strict required and self-disciplined. All the students should cherish the opportunity, focus on study, keep the rules, obey the management, and be learned and earned.
