On the morning of Sept. 21, China Health Economics Association(CHEA) Vice Chairman and Secretary General Professor Zhang Zhenzhong, was invited to visit SPEA for academic exchange. SPEA Dean and CHEA Vice Chairman Professor Liu Xiaobing, SPEA Social Security and Health Economics Team core member and CHEA Standing Council member Professor Yu Wei, council member Professor Li Hua, council member Professor Yang Cuiying, and Assistant Professor Tian Liu attended the meeting.
In the meeting, Dean Liu Xiaobing introduced our development status, discipline characteristics, goal and path of talent training, highlighted our specialty, discipline and faculty especially in our social security and health economics, expressed our wish to serve CHEA and our nation’s health career, and encouraged our teachers and students to participate in CHEA activities. Professor Zhang Zhenzhong introduced CHEA’s history, development and mission, demonstrated CHEA’s structure and responsibility, listed some regular academic activities and research programs in recent years, and invited SPEA team to participate in these CHEA activities.
Professor Zhang Zhenzhong wished that SPEA Team could make more contribution in CHEA paltform with academic achievements and make more contribution to the development of China health economics discipline. Professor Zhang’s encouragement and expectation provided excellent enlightenment and instruction to our social security and health economics discipline development in areas of public health, health security and health service.
