In the afternoon of November 7, 2017, Professor Stefan Krummaker from Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), associate dean of School of Business and Management, accompanied by QMUL’s Chinese regional manager Ms. Wang Ying's visited SPEA SHUFE, vice president Fu Wenlin, vice dean Wang Feng, associate professor Zhang Yi, foreign affairs secretary Hui Jin attended the meeting. The two sides held cordial talks on joint education, student exchange, national public school study, cooperative research and other aspects of collaboration.

QMUL is a public research university in London, England, and aconstituent college of the federal University of London. It dates back to the foundation of London Hospital Medical College in 1785. Queen Mary College, named after Mary of Teck, was admitted to the University of London in 1915 and in 1989 merged with Westfield College to form Queen Mary and Westfield College. In 1995 Queen Mary and Westfield College merged with St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College and the London Hospital Medical College to form the School of Medicine and Dentistry. The Medical College of the Royal London Hospital (now part of Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry) was England’s first medical school when it opened in 1785.

Queen Mary is a member of the Russell Group of leading British research universities, the Association of Commonwealth Universities and Universities UK. Queen Mary is a major centre for medical teaching and research and is part of UCL Partners, the world's largest academic health science centre. It has a strategic partnership with the University of Warwick, including research collaboration and joint teaching of English, history and computer science undergraduates. Queen Mary also collaborates with Royal Holloway, University of London, to run programmes at the University of London Institute in Parisand also collaborates with University of London International Programmes to offer its post graduate law and Global MBA program. For 2015-16, Queen Mary had a turnover of £404.3 million, including £101.0 million from research grants and contracts.

Dr Stefan Krummaker is the Associate Dean for Taught Programmes and a member of the senior management team at the School of Business and Management, Queen Mary University of London. Furthermore, he is a Reader (Associate Professor) in Leadership Practice and holds academic visiting positions at several other European Universities. Earlier roles included lecturer positions in Germany as well as professional and managerial positions outside academia
Stefan is a renowned leadership expert. He is teaching leadership in various academic settings and in companies. Furthermore, he is acting as a leadership speaker, coach and consultant in a number of international companies as well as regional SMEs.

His work investigates forms and practices of effective change leadership, leaders’ change competencies, co-creation of leadership and high-quality relationships at work. Stefan publishes in top-tier journals and books, and presents his work at international conferences. He is also the Programme Co-Chair of the annual Academy of Management Teaching and Learning Conference.
During the meeting, both sides introduced the history, present situation and uniqueness of their respective colleges, discussed the possibilities of teacher development, scientific research exchange and other aspects, and expressed the good wish of going hand in hand and seeking common development.
