1. Objectives of the programs:
Students in this postgraduate program should have comprehensive and solid knowledge of theories skills in education pedagogy and management, and also expertise knowledge of relevant disciplines such as systems science and economics. Students should be innovative, practical and highly adaptable. The specialty has two research fields: theories and policies of education economics and comparative studies of educational systems. This specialty mainly tries to analyze current international and domestic education theories, situations and systems from the perspective of economics. In theory, study of the domain will provide a scientific theory and methodology for China’s educational practice, and in practice to provide policy recommendations and jointly promote the development of China's education in educational institutions at all levels.
