Currently, the School of Public Economics and Administration has developed a well-structured, research-oriented teaching and research faculty. Among them, 62 are full-time teachers including 12 professors and 29 assistant professors. About 80% of the teachers have overseas learning or training experience (include the ones graduated from foreign universities). There are 8 part-time teachers from who 7 are titled as professor.
During the past three years, the School has been actively recruiting talents from abroad, and now has 10 teachers in the crew from prestigious foreign universities such as the Yale University, the Duke University, the Stanford University, and the South California University etc. Moreover, our teachers have brought the School with honors of “The Leading Talents of Shanghai”, “The Huangpu River Talents”, “The Star Teacher of Shanghai” in various talents projects of the government.
In the future, the School will continue its effort in recruiting talents of all sorts form home and abroad, with the warmest welcome for predominant scholars, academic backbones, excellent researchers and graduated students in the field. Our goal is to build a school based on and beneficial to the local community, which is also responsible for contributing to the development of world public economics. The School will spear no effort to foster more academic and administrative leaders for the country and society in the new era.
