The specialty of technical economics and management is available for post-graduate and doctorate programs.

1.       Objectives of the programs:

Programs of this specialty focus on systematic theoretical basis of management, profound knowledge and skills of basic scientific disciplines such as economics, mathematics, and computer application etc., also with an innovative spirit and foster highly skilled and adaptable talents for the need of socialist market economy. 

The programs require students to have wide awareness of the predominant theories in the field and systematic knowledge of the characteristics of the discipline. Proficiency in at least one foreign language is necessary. Students will need to read original academic works and be able to accomplish academic writing and international communication with foreign languages. Students will need not only good knowledge of the historical background but also the most up-dated development in both academic and practical sphere of the discipline. Creativity is much appreciated in students at research work, teaching activities and administrative work.

After graduation, students will have the ability for roles as researchers and teachers in universities or scientific institutes, or administrators in companies or government departments with high-level decision making or technology managing tasks.
