On 3rd November 2015, “Code Quality Development” activity was co-held successfully by SPEA Student Union, Department of Quality Development, Code Association, and Book Management Committee. This activity attracted a big number of students as soon as it was announced. Over 460 students participated, 63 students in 9 teams commenced the final game.

The final game was consisted of two parts, indoor and outdoor activity. Indoor activity included decoding and TAKAGISM. Players needed to decode the puzzle according to their knowledge and logical deduction with time limitation to enter the next section. Besides, players had to balance the degree of difficulty among different section, because the chambers were not as difficult to escape as their corresponding questions to be solved. Therefore, not only students’ intelligence was challenged, but also their decision making ability was tested. Outdoor activity included several tasks in different location, such as several persons walking with their legs binding and “unfalling forest”. Every team needed to work with decent work division and tacit agreement to get through the barrier. The whole activity lasted for four hours, but every team devoted themselves with their whole body and heart. They perfectly accomplished all the tasks with outstanding intelligence and passion.

This activity blended code element into common games and brought chamber into campus, which provided a stage for puzzle lovers. Meanwhile, team members get well along with each other in a very short time by those quality development games. They made the best use of a team, and gained the accomplishment and happiness. Although the activity came to the end this time, students’ passion has not gone yet. We believe that SPEA Student Union will continue to bring us more activities with fun and challenge.
