Dr. Wang Yin's researches focus on the development and application of new public management, especially the application of public-private partnerships and the privatization of public affairs in the field of transportation and other infrastructure. Her ongoing researches include: the application of public-private partnerships in the field of transportation, the research of financing and management issues of Chinese high-speed rail, as well as the mechanism setting for government policy innovations. She once served as the Policy Research Consultant in California Department of Transportation, as well as taught at the University of Southern California. Moreover, she was also employed by two US policy consulting companies (research center). And she has authored multiple policy consulting reports.
