Recently, the result of the 2016 National College " Vigorous League Branch" selection campaign organized by the Central Committee of the CYL has been announced. 2014 Investment League Branch of our school is the only branch of SUFE to win the award. This is another national honorary title of Student League Branch of SPEA after the title of “Model League Branch” in practicing socialism core values won by the 2012 Finance League Branch.
In the fall semester of 2016, the School Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Young League organized a selection campaign for the " Vigorous League Branch" of the National College (including vocational colleges, private colleges and independent colleges) to promote the implementation of the "Vitality Enhancement" project for college League Branches, and to elect a number of typical college students League Branches in order to lead the young students to further study and practice general secretary Xi Jinping’s requirements of "Diligent, Virtuous, Discerning and Honest". After internal creation, qualification examination, provincial selection, expert evaluation, network displaying, open voting and other procedures, 1000 League Branches were selected as the 2016 National College "Vigorous League Branch"
2014 Investment League Branch now has 51 student members, which is not only a rigorous and united class collective, but also a warm and loving family, a vigorous League Branch.
A Rigorous and United Class Collective
The League Branch has not only an upright, rigorous and virtuous atmosphere, but also a united and studious discipline. Every League member has a serious and positive attitude towards learning, and makes progress while ensuring stability in learning. They have realistic and rigorous academic spirit and are excellent in academic performance, wining wide praise of teachers in our school.
A Warm and Loving Family
On every festival, the League Branch will become the second home of students from all corners of the country: during the National Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival, students gather together to spend the holidays; during Lantern Festival, the class cadre cook dumpling for everyone which implies reunion; during the Girls’ Festival, boys carefully prepare sweet cookies for girls; during the Qingming Festival, students go out for a spring country walk and pay their respect to heroes in Cemetery of Revolutionary Martyrs; during Christmas Day, students hold Christmas party, which gives League members a family-like warmth and forms a sense of belonging towards the League Branch.
A Vigorous League Branch
In 2014, the League Branch held a quality development activity with the theme of "Dream young and practice sincerely". League members actively participated in the activity and enhanced their understanding of the League through the interesting game, which fully embodies the unity and vitality of the League Branch. This activity was awarded the SUFE "Top Ten Theme League Activity".
In 2015, the League Branch held an activity with the theme of “Core Values Starts from Me” both online and offline, and published a number of theory learning documents about “ Core Values of Socialism” on WeChat. They also visited the red education base and senior party members, held Photo exhibition and knowledge contest, launched theme activities to study, practice and promote the core values of socialism, which once again won the SUFE “Top Ten Theme League Activity”, and was titled the SUFE “Red Flag League Branch”.
In 2016, the League Branch organized members to retrace the "New Long March" on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Long March, to visit the Memorial Hall of Lu Xun, to stroll on the cultural celebrity street of Duolun Road, and to learn the spirit of the Long March.
The League Branch family empowers every member to make clear their own ideals, to achieve their goals and to create this united, loving and vigorous League Branch jointly!
