On 20th November, 2015, SPEA uniform and slogan designing competition will be initiating.
When significant events are held, college uniform and slogan are important medium to present our spirit and feature in SPEA. Although we had several suits of decent uniform in previous years, the designing of uniform was formalized because of the fewer times of wearing and low degree of involvement for neither students nor teachers. As one of School of Public Economics and Administration, everyone has the responsibility to design a suit of uniform with inheritance and all people’s intelligence and preference and to make it favorably received. Meanwhile, we hope all of us will gain the ability to practise and the chance to improve the ability of art appreciation.
Therefore, obeying the tradition of SUEF, “All rivers run into sea”, SPEA Youth League and Student Union will hold this uniform designing competition to inspire students’ and teachers’ creativity, to enrich their after-class activities and deepen the sense of honor and belonging. We will ask for creative and representative uniform design, from fresher to senior students and select the best design as our uniform.
Besides, slogan is also important, which express the college’s spirit within a few words. So at the same time, we also ask all of the students and teachers of SPEA for slogan and select the one which will win the highest votes.
The activity will last for 15 days, from 20th November to 5th December, 2015. During this time, all the people can submit their designing and will have the chance to get prize. On top of that, on 18th November, 2015, we will host a lecture about the uniform designing competition in room 302 in Phoenix Building. We will invite guest to tell you the design philosophy, evaluation criteria and some notice during the process of designing.
