In the evening of 9th December 2013, the fifteenth Lan Yuan Cup Campus Arts Festivals Choral Competition was held in our school. Student choruses from 11 schools attended the competition.
Our school’s chorus was consisted of 50 students. Through the two-month hard training, the chorus produced an excellent performance of the two songs, Yun Fei Tian Bu Dong and You Zi Qing Si. The beautiful voice and airy harmonic showed the feeling of people who are not at home, the passion of SHUFE, and the elegant demeanor of our school’s students. The performance was praised by students and teachers who attended the competition. Our school’s chorus was awarded with the second place of the Fifteenth Lan Yuan Cup Campus Arts Festivals Choral Competition.
Yu Zhen (the vice-chairman of Shanghai Musician Association), Wang Xiaoning (the director of Creative Department at Shanghai Mass Art Center), Zheng Huiwu (the member of China Chorus Association) and Xu Runtao (the teacher of School of Humanities at SHUFE) attended the competition. Liu Yongzhang (the deputy secretary of school CPC party committee), officials from Career Service Center, Labor Union, Teaching Affairs Office, Student Affairs Office and the Propaganda Department of Party Committee, the vice secretary of student affairs, counselors (part-time and full-time) and students from 11 schools attended and watched the competition.
