On Jan. 21, 2017, the Final of 2017 PwC International Tax Competition, jointly sponsored by PwC Education Fund and National Taipei University, was held in Taipei. SPEA Team, consisted by Zhou Yuanxin, Mo Yuelin, Cheng Sizhao and Cheng Mengyao, won the championship, while Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and National Chengchi University being the Second and Third.
Facing the era of globalization, challenge of multinational tax agreements, and rapid update of tax regulations, PwC Education Fund and National Taipei University held the PwC International Tax Competition among Taiwan universities since 2015, to improve students’ understanding and participation in International Tax and Public Affairs, and to cultivate students’ skills in tax analysis, thinking and communication, and team spirit. This year is the first time they invited mainland universities to join the competition. This Final consisted 7 Taiwan teams, including Soochow University, National Chengchi University, and National Taipei University, and 3 mainland universities, including Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and Xiamen University.
After PPT preparation, presentation and Q&A, SPEA team, with abundant professional knowledge, accurate business analysis and good teamwork, received highly recognition and won the championship.
