From 25th Oct. to 8th Nov. 2015, two-week long public beneficial long distance running series activity, “Rolling Colorful Eggs” ended in a satisfactory way.
On 25th Oct., “Rolling Colorful Eggs”, public beneficial long distance running activity started with joyful atmosphere. This time, the activity consisted of three phases, which were road showing, long distance running and online election. On 16th Oct., road showing was presented on “Green Leaf” walking street of the campus. There were two funny games welcomed students to give it a shot. Meanwhile, every member of Student Union of SPEA cooperated with one another and introduced this activity in detail. Dynamic music and passionate atmosphere touched every people present and 396 students entered their name for this activity.
On the very day, all participates wearing white T-shirts were waiting on the Lovers’ Slope with full preparation. At one o’clock in the afternoon, ten runners in the first group stepped out to welcome a baptism of color with the volunteer’s command. Another group of runners started their public beneficial travel every ten minutes. They became familiar with each other in this 4.1 kilometers’ long trip even though they didn’t know each other at all at the very beginning. When they came across a painting point, they stopped and painted as they liked. The running ended in the front door of Tongji University, but happiness continued. Runners signed and took photos. Their smile was remained, but their love passed on.
On 5th Nov., online election began. After two days’ voting, Cai Keyan won the first prize with 839 votes. She got the reward of “Double Travelling”.
This activity was held in accordance with public benefit and spirit of love. They promised that “one more runner, one more piece of donation”. After the activity was finished, SPEA Volunteer Department would donate 2000 yuan, which was found by Public Relationship Department, to the public beneficial program “An Egg’s Rampage”. The whole activity was co-hosted by SPEA Youth League and Student Union and Volunteer Department of School of Statistics and Management, as well was Star Volunteer Group of Tongji University. They cooperated in one team and brought passion to every runner. After the running activity was finished, painting eggs voting activity started at once. They made the love greater, and happiness pass on.
