On the evening of 26th June, SPEA 2015 “Delonix regia Blooming, Future Being Lightened” Graduation Party was held in the great hall on first floor in Phoenix Building. Persons in charge of Student Affairs Dept., Career Center, Dept. of Logistics Management and Youth League Committee, as well as heads of Party and government of SPEA, representatives of teachers, and representatives of alumni and graduates of Class of 2015 altogether 300 people attended this party.

The party was divided into two parts which were Ceremony and Activity. In the Ceremony part, Mr. Tan Yuxu, Director of Career Center, Mr. Yu Wei, Dean of School of Public Economics and Administration, Mr. Huang Yu, representative of alumni gave speeches respectively. They gave their congratulations to the graduates who completed their studies and best wishes for their future development. They hoped the graduates will take the school motto “Strive for Virtue and Knowledge, Endeavor for Pax Sinica” as their faith for further development. They will work hard and dream high.


Representative of undergraduates, Lu Qingcheng and representative of graduates, Cao Jiawei gave speeches and expressed their miss for campus life, best wishes for teachers, as well as their determination of taking responsibility and paying back to society.

In the party, the name lists of “Most powerful in SPEA of 2015” for teachers and students were revealed. All the graduates voted on school WeChat platform for this activity. Zhu Weiqun, Zheng Chunrong, Ren Xiaohui, Liu Xiaobing, Tang Min and Wang Caihua, the six teachers and Lu Qingcheng and other seven students were presented the prizes.

Eleven graduates who were enthusiastic in alumni work were presented with the letter of appointment, “Alumni Contact Ambassador” and 22 Masters’ in Taxation of Class of 2015 were presented with “SUEF Junchang Master’s in Taxation” commemorative certificate.
Representatives presented the gift of “Flying Dragon Phoenix” drawing which delivered the rosy prospect for SPEA.

In Activity part, shows such as ballad with guitar, bass quartet and songs and activities such as lucky draw on Wechat and games made the party fabulous. Students from minority nations also performed fancy Uigurian dance and Yi dance. The song Feng Huang Hua Kai De Lu Kou sang by students and teachers was the climax of the party. The party came to the end with teachers’ blessings, alumni’s wishes and graduates’ testimonials. At last, the original poem “If You Would Ask Me” by Professor Zhu Weiqun ended this party perfectly.


Before the party was held, the graduates of Class of 2015 in SPEA implemented a series of activities of “Gratitude for Teachers” and “Thanks for Having You” through school WeChat platform. Graduates expressed gratitude for teachers, tutors and porters as well as classmates by sending text, pictures and videos in unite of class.
Say goodbye in the time of Delonix regia blooming and wish all of graduates in SPEA have a bright future!
