On July 3 to 6, the 2017 SUFE SPEA Summer Camp held solemnly in phoenix building. SUFE League Committee Secretary Shen Yijun and Graduate School vice Dean Prof. Li Jingsong presented the opening ceremony. SPEA Party Secretary Associate Professor Fang Fang, Dean Professor Liu Xiaobing, Deputy Dean Prof. Fu Wenlin, Deputy Secretary Zhou Qiao, Dean assistant Associate researcher Yang Ye attended the activity.
419 excellent students all over the nations applied this camp and 80 of them from Wuhan University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Shangdong University, Xiamen University, Harbin Institute of Technology, East China Normal University and other famous universities were adopted after selection.
In the four-days’ program, the camp held various sectors including lectures, interviews, ice break, salon, and campus visit, providing nervous and substantial experience for students. In lectures, students are impressed by Liu Xiaobing’s elegance and urbanity, external tutor He Bin’s addicting insides, and Zhang Yi’s passion, feeling the thick academic atmosphere of Century SUFE. The interview sector was full of challenge and the salon much more relax and pleasant. With the concern of leaders and well-planned by academic office dean Liu Jiangqin, the activity has rich forms and conducts smoothly, providing an excellent platform for students enriching knowledge, challenging themselves, and showing talent.
The 2017 SUFE SPEA Summer Camp is the fifth Summer Camp of SPEA. During these five years, SPEA, through holding Summer Camp, attracted numerous talents which provided a solid guarantee to recruit high quality graduate students.
