For the students who have successfully passed the blind check on their dissertation paper, please prepare the following material and log into teaching management system Dissertation column to apply for the defense. Material should hand in to Mr. Dong in room 105 of phoenix building by Dec 13. The due defense would be arranged at around Dec 27 and please pay attention to the official website.
Students whose research outcomes have already meet the requirements for a PhD degree, please apply in teaching management system Graduate& Degree column and register in school academic system. The original and copy materials should be hand in to Mr. Dong by Dec 12.

B5. The Application and Examine Form for the PhD Degree of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (two copies with ID photos attached, signed by the supervisor and the applicant)

B7. The meeting minutes and resolution report (signed by the student)
B8. Form of Basic Data of Awarded Doctorate Degree
B9. Personal Information of the Applicant for Doctorate Degree of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics

After passing the dissertation presentations, students could apply for a 2500 RMB reimbursement as compensation for expenses on the dissertation research project. Please prepare an invoice of 1500 RMB in name of printing or copying (please sign your name on the back) and hand in with the documents stated above.
Please make sure all the fee paid and academic findings reviewed before the defense. Students should make a final revision on their dissertation paper according to the comments of the supervision committee, and hand in 5 copies of the final draft (signed by both student and supervisor) to the School office. Students should submit final paper in teaching and management system and waiting for supervisor’s confirm. Only all the procedures finish, student could receive the graduate certificate.
