According to SUFE Undergraduates Major Auto-selection Interim Procedure, for students’ personality development and improving students’ initiative and creative ability, Fresh students with excellent grade and specialty could select major. SPEA welcomes students turn into majors as investment, public finance, taxation, labor and social security, administrative management, real estate development and management. On the basis of inspecting students’ comprehensive ability, with principle of voluntary, fair, and justice, SPEA adopts combined measure with text exam and interview to select excellent students.
Basic Selection Requirement
1 First semester GPA: 3.60 or above
2 Math requirement: advanced mathematics(engineering) or Mathematical analysis scored 75 or above, or advanced mathematics(Economic management) scored 80 or above, or Calculus scored 95 or above.
3 English requirement: College English A, College English B scored 80 or above, College English C scored 90 or above. College English D students would not be accepted.
4 Original results shall prevail.
Selection Procedure
SPEA would organize selection work with text exam and interview to determine admission list. Text exam emphases mathematics and English level, while interview emphases comprehensive ability including oral English, quick thinking, logic analysis, and creative ability.
Detailed requirement
1 text exam scored 100 with 50% math and 50% English.
2 interview scored 100 and mainly emphases on comprehensive ability including oral English, quick thinking, logic analysis, and creative ability.
3 Final score includes 60% text exam and 40% interview. The admission list determined by final score and students’ voluntary and would be published.
4 interview candidates would be determined by text exam scores.
5 transferred student should strictly follow the new training scheme and teaching plan. Whether first semester’s courses could be replaced depends on SPEA.
