Won the First National Youth Award for Outstanding Achievements of Social science, jointly organized by the Central Committee of China Communist Youth League and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in December 1994 (Candidates must be under 40 years old. One of the four winners for different disciplines and one of the two winners for Economics. The winning paper was titled as Theoretical Discussion about International Tax Sparing), and met with and received the award from Party and national leaders and relevant departmental leaders at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on December 8.
Won the Second National Award for Outstanding Research Achievements of Financial Theory (1990-1994), jointly organized by the Ministry of Finance and the Chinese Finance Society in October 1995 (One of the four winners in Shanghai and the only winner under 40 years old. The winning paper was titled as Research on Several Basic Issues about International Finance).
Won the Shanghai Municipal Award for Outstanding Achievements of Philosophy and Social science (January 1994-December 1995, the winning paper was titled as Discussion about the Financial Scope of Socialist Market Economy) in December 1996.
